Hello again. This is Shannon. I have great news - they made it and what an "amazing welcome" they received when they landed. Brad will explain it shortly when he emails you next, but he wanted me to let you know they are safe and "full of the holy spirit"!
I have even better news - their luggage is on its way. Our prayers worked. As of 2:30am last night (Sat early morning, our time), Brad called me saying they were still awaiting their luggage but was told that the airlines didn't believe it ever left London. I began calling the airline's 'delayed luggage' department but without their baggage claim numbers, they couldn't locate it. I text messaged Brad but they were already on their way to Tabora. Then, at 8:30am this morning (Sat morning, our time), Brad called and said they arrived and as he was dictating the claim numbers to me, he was interupted and told the luggage is on its way and will arrive sometime tomorrow. They are a little stinky but it is of no consequence once they finally arrived to such an "amazing welcome". They have also been fed very well with a huge meal of beef, beans, rice, sourkraut and fresh pineapple. No sooner did they start to eat that they were asked when they would like to eat dinner at
Saddock's house tonight. There is no question, they are being very well taken care of!
Thanks again for your prayers and be looking out for the next email from Brad.
Blessings,
Shannon
